Evertex is an advanced PVC decking range designed for Australian outdoor living. Unlike timber or wood-plastic composite boards, Evertex boards contain no wood fibre. They are made from PVC and protected by co-extruded ASA capping, which helps the surface resist UV, scratches, stains and moisture.

The result is a timber-look deck that doesn’t need sanding, oiling or staining, won’t rot, and resists termite damage. Evertex comes in three collections – VIVID, Essence and Pioneer – so you can choose the look, performance and budget that suits your project.

VIVID has the most realistic timber look in the range. It is built on the Essence platform and adds a high-definition printed woodgrain layer under a clear protective PVC layer. It comes in American Oak, Weathered Silver Ash and Classic Merbau.

Essence is a premium solid PVC board with double ASA capping in eight colours. It is BAL-29 and P4 slip rated, highly water-resistant and suits selected curved deck designs. Pioneer is a lightweight, cost-effective PVC board with three-sided double ASA capping, in White Wash Oak and Silver Grey – ideal for everyday residential and DIY projects.

Traditional composite decking (WPC) is a blend of wood fibres and plastics. PVC decking like Evertex contains no wood at all. With no organic material in the board, PVC is highly resistant to moisture, rot and insect attack, and is very dimensionally stable.

Both are low maintenance and long lasting. PVC suits very wet or exposed areas such as pool surrounds and coastal homes especially well. Both work with a modern aluminium subframe like the Clickdeck system.

Very little. There is no sanding, oiling, staining or painting. A sweep to remove leaves and dirt, plus an occasional wash with mild soapy water and a soft brush, is usually all it needs.

Avoid harsh solvents and don’t blast the board surface with a high-pressure washer at close range. Furniture pads and lifting heavy items instead of dragging them will help keep the surface looking fresh.

Yes. Evertex boards are highly water-resistant and slip rated to AS 4586 for wet areas, which makes them well suited to pool surrounds, spa areas and coastal homes.

Keeping the deck free of algae, sunscreen spills and leaf litter helps maintain grip. Pairing the boards with a properly drained and ventilated subframe, like the Clickdeck aluminium system, helps the whole deck perform long-term.

The Evertex Essence Collection is BAL-29 rated, tested in accordance with AS 1530.8.1 for applicable bushfire-prone applications.

Like any outdoor surface, decking warms up in full sun, and darker colours absorb more heat than lighter ones. Evertex Essence is designed to stay more comfortable underfoot in summer conditions.

If heat is a concern, choose a lighter colour such as Moon Mist, Earth Stone or White Wash Oak, and add shade with a pergola, umbrella or awning – especially around pools and north-facing decks.

Yes. Evertex boards are fixed with the EVERTEX concealed fixing system and can be laid over the Clickdeck aluminium subframe and adjustable pedestals. The frame is pre-engineered and height adjustable, so it is faster and more accurate to build than a timber frame.

Always follow the Evertex installation guide for joist spacing, end gaps and fixing – for example, the recommended joist spacing for the VIVID Collection is 400–450mm centres. Our team can help with layout and quantities.

No. Decking boards should not be laid directly on soil, grass or concrete. They need a subframe that keeps them off the ground, allows drainage and provides ventilation underneath.

Over concrete, balconies or uneven ground, the Clickdeck aluminium frame with adjustable pedestals gives you a level, stable base while keeping airflow and drainage under the boards.
