TERMS & CONDITIONS

PRICING
We aim to calculate quantities of components needed per project accurately, as there may be unknown variables onsite, we aim to estimate quantities within +/- 10%. Price is calculated on parts and quantities included in the quotation above. If extra items are needed to complete the project, they can be purchased additionally. We have not included the supply of any decking surface (e.g., deck boards) in this quotation.

PAYMENT
Goods will be dispatched upon receipt of payment in full. EXOLUX has a preference for payment via EFT.

RETURNS
EXOLUX offers returns in the following circumstances:

FAULTY ITEMS/PRODUCT
Any claims for a return must be made within 30 days from the date you received the product.

CHANGE OF MIND
We do not offer any refund if you simply change your mind, or find the same product or service cheaper elsewhere. No refunds will be provided once prefabrication commences. Deposits paid will not be refunded.

WASTAGE
Please note: Individual items (such as clips, screws, joiners, and brackets) cannot be returned individually if the customer has excess items. EXOLUX will only refund unopened/complete packs. Please refer to our website to view our refund policy.

PRODUCTION TIME
We endeavour to dispatch orders within 3–5 business days.

PICK-UP FROM EXOLUX
In order to collect products/deck kits from EXOLUX directly, the customer will require, at a minimum, a standard utility vehicle or van.

FREIGHT AND DELIVERY
Customers must be available to hand-unload goods upon delivery. Customers will receive notification from EXOLUX regarding the estimated date/time of delivery.

PRODUCTS DAMAGED DURING DELIVERY
In the event that a product you ordered is damaged during delivery:
(a) Please contact us as soon as possible.
(b) Any damaged product must be returned in the condition it was in when you received it, together with any packaging and other items which you received with the damaged product.
(c) We will organise to repair the damaged product, collect it and replace it with an equivalent product, or provide a refund—provided that you contact us within 24 hours from the date you received the product.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
EXOLUX will not assume responsibility for damage to products used in conjunction with the ClickDeck system including decking boards, spas, furniture, water features, structures, etc., built on or attached to the deck system. The customer accepts all responsibility, risk, and liability related to the installation and use of the product.

INSTALLATION
The instructions, guidelines, and illustrations provided within the manual aim to support the installer with the construction of the product; however, they do not replace the need for input from a licensed professional and should be used in conjunction with certification by a qualified structural engineer.

The customer must contact and adhere to their local council regarding regulations, permits, and codes required for the construction of the deck. These may also include special requirements, limitations, and/or restrictions pertaining to the specific council requirements, which may supersede the information provided in the ClickDeck® Installation Guide.

WARRANTY
EXOLUX warrants the ClickDeck® system against defects in construction for a period of 50 years* for residential installations, subject to the applicable warranty terms and conditions.

SCOPE OF WARRANTY
The ClickDeck® system has been produced to high standards; however, should any manufacturing defect arise, please contact EXOLUX directly. We will arrange for an inspection of the affected product(s) to determine the extent of the issue.

EXOLUX PRODUCTS COVERED BY THIS WARRANTY
ClickDeck® modular decking system (inclusive of bearer, joist, deck clips, corner bracket, joiner, hinge bracket, starter clip, and bearer-to-joist clip).

EXOLUX will not be liable for any other claims in connection with the supply or use of the product, including claims for loss, loss of income, economic loss, loss of profits or damage, loss of reputation or goodwill, loss of savings, indirect or consequential loss or damage, costs, or expenses of any kind arising under any circumstances, including those resulting from defects caused by faulty manufacture, faulty material, negligence, or otherwise.

INCLUSIONS OF WARRANTY
EXOLUX provides a product warranty for a period of 50 Years* under normal use to the original purchaser (proof of purchase must be retained). The warranty period commences from the date of purchase as shown on the receipt. EXOLUX will either supply replacement products or reimburse the purchaser for the portion of the original purchase price outlined in the allocated warranty schedule.

PRIVACY
The information we collect from you at registration includes: name, email, address, and phone number. You may also be required to provide more specific information. For example, to make purchases, you may need to provide credit card information, billing, and postal addresses. From time to time, we may request information from you to assist us in improving our products, goods, services, content, or materials.

We take all reasonable steps to protect your personal information. We use appropriate physical, digital, managerial, and security systems to store your personal information and to protect it against unauthorised access, destruction, or disclosure.
